Overview

Founded through a referendum in 1968 by the school boards of West Vancouver, Howe Sound and North Vancouver, Capilano University is known to provide a firm academic foundation to its students and at the same time is committed to continuously develop new and innovative programs to suit the market forces.

The university offers an array of credentials in the form of certificates, diplomas, bachelors, associate degrees, advanced diplomas and post-baccalaureate diplomas in fields related to creative and applied arts, business and management studies, health and human services programs, arts and science courses along with preparatory courses to help the students meet their career and educational aspirations.

With the main campus in North Vancouver, Capilano University’s community stands tall with over 7500 students, of which about 1,000 students come from more than 55 different nations of the world. The college is internationally acclaimed for its quality programs, services and education with more than 95%students securing jobs within the first six months of the completion of their graduation.
