Program Overview

Sociology is the study of society. Do you find yourself wondering about how social movements and norms develop? Are you interested in topics like crime, aging, sexuality, human rights, health, or the environment? Sociology will answer your questions and give you a new lens for seeing the world around you.

At UNB, we prepare our graduates for national and international careers in Sociology. Our faculty and related courses comprise a range of perspectives on historical and developing thoughts pertaining to social, political, human, and environmental issues.
